I just purchased 3 new Memento ink pads and have a question.  They seem very wet and when I try to stamp an image with fine lines and heavy areas, the heavy areas are blotchy.  Is there anything I…Continue

Thinking of you & Get Well

Cardstock and Butterflies are from Gina K, used Darice embossing folder. Highlighted the embossing with Jelly Roll pens. These cards were made for friends who are recuperating or handling serious illnesses. Trying to cheer them up.

Masculine Birthday

Made for a friend for her father. As you can see, I am still having a vision problem. Didn't see the crookedness until it was all done! Blah! Card is light gray, paper is a gray/tan so that's why I used chocolate ink. Words have a bit of Jellyroll…

Thanks for the wonderful comment on my two sympathy cards.  I agree totally with you.  I too get lots of ideas as I go along.  That's probably why I almost always make two similar cards at a time.

Paula, thank you so much for your sweet words on my Thinking of You card this morning.  I really appreciate it.  It is such a pretty stamp and fun to use.  Hope to see a card from you in my Mix It Up Monday Challenge this week.  Your card gallery is wonderful, lots of pretty creative cards to see.

Thanks for your comment on my card, Paula!  I just used my Grand Calibur and an oval Spellbinders die to cut a window in the front of my card.  My machine is tight enough that I don't really even have to pass it through again with the embossing mat, unless I want a really super crisp edge.

I'll have to see if I can find the video!  Could it have been Reverse Nestabilities?
