"I know Gina used BG10 Cool shadow in her Winter wishes window card. I don't know if this is what you are looking for though. The card is awesome."

"If those were pears, they look real that way.  I use clear stamps all the time, try using regular ink, and lay the stamp face up, and then ink over them, sometimes inking this way insures that you get full coverage, rather than applying ink by…"

"I agree. The new Memento inks seem more "watery" and have more bubbles. When stamping a sentiment, I usually use Versafine ink. It's stickier and will do fine detail much better than Memento inks. I'm hoping, though, that with…"

"You might try using one of those white, good quality erasers and rubbing it over the surface of the stamp.  It leaves a thin film and helps the ink to coat it better.  I have tried it with smaller stamp images and it works fine. "

"When I use colorbox the stamp works  better, I get a much more solid impression. I think I have to buy more ink pads and buy the colorbox brand. I tried stamping off because the ink bubbles up - but then there is not enough ink to make the next…"

"I follow Simplicity blog and Susan has been complaining that the new memento colours are very juicy and causing blotchiness, maybe its the ink not the stamp.  "

"Thank you so much for all the answers. The ink is already in a blotchy form on the stamp. So far the only way I can avoid this is to rub the stamp on the ink pad - but then I get rubbing lines in the finished impression. I have tried every piece of…"

"Hi Michelle, You say you are stamping on foam layers. Have you tried using something a bit firmer like a mouse mat or  a thickish piece of cardboard? It could be the surface you are stamping on that's the problem - ie too soft? "

"I have had success with rubbing the inkpad all  over the stamp, then tapping it all over (so it's like you're doubling the ink).  And, yes, good quality paper can make all the difference in the world!"
