"This sounds like so much fun. Wish I could go but not able to yet. Hopefully in the near future though. Have fun everyone. I do hope someone will take pictures of the event again like Karen did last time and share it with us. …"
Hi Margaret, thanks for your lovely comments on the cards I posted recently. For the purple on purple iris, I stamped it in white, and tried coloring it in white, but it just wasn't working for me, so I went over it in shades of purple. By all means get that ribbon die out and use it! Since it cuts several ribbons at once, you will soon build up a stash to use for your cards. Some of them are a little fussy to use, but they're worth the effort. I've also used the edges in between some of the ribbons.
So happy you liked my 'krafty pelican', Margaret. I just wanted to know what colour pelicans are where you come from? The ones in Australia are predominantly white LOL. Not sure what you meant when you commented on the colour of my pelican? Anyway, it was fun to do even though I am definitely not an artist. I just did the best I could. Cheers!
Thanks for the lovely comments! I stamped the inside of the "heart soars" card with the row of hearts from Melanie's Triple Play Frame set. Now I will just write something. The sympathy card was nice to make. I like watching videos by Gina and creating along with her. After I glued the panel to the base, I remembered I was going to partial emboss, like she showed in the video, and totally forgot. I was using Tombow Mono-multi glue with the green lid and it was totally stuck, so I left it alone.
