Hi Laurie, How sweet - you stopped by and left such a beautiful comment on the autumn leaves card on my blog. I could not figure out how to contact you blog to blog though :/ eeek! Yes, I used an embossing folder after I stamped and perfect pearled the leaves. It was meant to create a swirling wind effect lol. All my best, please stop in to CT when you feel up to it. Miss you ♥

If you click on your blog address directly above this, (the last line of Welcome Friends on this page) do you get to your blog? When I tried it it said "Blog Not Found"...if you tried it from here, never mind. The problem could be from my end.

Aloha Ladies, thank you for the invite. Your all are so creative. I am still learning how to communicate and find stuff on this site.It is nice to see so much talent. I was or am a comercial artist, but my illness has made it very difficult to make new art, at least at the caleber I used to. I look forward to talking more. TKs Malia

Keeping card lining in place for motion cards

Hi Everyone,

For those of you who were wondering how i kept the lining of my "Up and Away" card in place, here is my secret.

First of all, you will need one of these. I purchased mine from Stampin' Up (no longer available unfortunately) so if you don't have one and can't find one elsewhere you'll have to improvise.

Next you will need to…

Napkins rings

Here is my first attempt at a tutorial. I thought I'd share with you how I made my woven napkin rings. I hope you all like it.

I started by using the left over tubing from a roll of wrapping paper and 40mm score tape.

I wrapped a piece of tape around the end of the tube and cut the tube even with the tape.…

Continue wrapping the woven paper around entire tube as shown.

Cut the excess paper off.

Using glue dots, fold the tabs in and glue them to the inside of the tube.…

Coffee filter roses

Posted on March 3, 2012 at 1:40am 3 Comments

Here is a simple rose that I made using a coffee filter. I cut 5 flowers with Spellbinder's Rose Creation die cutting set. I used two different sizes for this flower.

The three bottom layers are the same size. The top two layers are the same and slightly smaller than the bottom flowers. After cutting out the five flowers, I cut a small circle out of card stock…
