Theresa replied to Karen Monaghan's discussion What's the best ink to use?
"You could try embossing your images with clear embossing powder to get by until you get the Memento. I've never tried the Versafine, but you could also try heat setting it. Not sure if that would work. I only have the black ink pad, but I have…"

Hi again Karen,
I'm from Ballymoney, so not far from you.
I like the Gina K cardstock. I haven't tried it with copics but the design team use it so if it's good enough for them it's good enough for me. Theresa Momber has great copic step by step tutorials on her blog.
I've only recently been buying copics but as yet not using them a lot. I was looking at a UK website at the weekend " Crafts u Love" and it does a copic pad but I was thinking of trying. Didn't order it just yet because of this postal strike business.

Hi Karen,
I have been viewing your cards and a lot of things seemed familiar so I thought I'd check your profile. I think we may shop in similar places. As one North Antrim crafter to another I just want to say I hope you enjoy this site as much as I do. I'm still learning my way but the inspiration is incredible and the people so genuine. If you are thinking of ordering from Gina K I can tell you service to Northern Ireland is excellent. In fact it can be better than some UK post. I can only say positive things about Gina K.
Anyhow enjoy the challenges -I see you been doing some catching up. They can bring you out of your comfort zone which is always a good thing.
Happy crafting.
