Sharon Underwood said… Thank you, Judy, for your kind remark about my Father's Day card. I enjoyed learning from Theresa's tutorial. Creating that scene was a first for me, but I sure enjoyed it!
marcelle baldwin said… Just looking at your gallery..wow, your cards are gorgeous!!!
marcelle baldwin said… Hi Judy, yes I need to get another job..we only bought our home 11 yrs ago, so still have many yrs to pay it off, and anything would be a help. I have learnt a lot about wants and needs let me tell you, it's amazing how much money we waste when we have it..well I did..and I am having fun going through my abundance of craft stuff..USING it , instead of "collecting" lol . Have a blessed day/night!
marcelle baldwin said… Thanks so much Judy!! I lost my job 2 months back, so card sets are my going gift at the moment..who can't use a card or 6! lol!!
Thank you for the sweet comments! And I LOVE your cards, you did well! The 5oth is from Lacy Borders, and the graduation cap was cut out with the Cameo, I found a free svg somewhere online. I knew I had to make them "simple" as they are teenage boys and won't care what the card looks like, just what's inside, ya know? lol And the 'round thingie'.....medallion???......ribbon??? Call it whatever you would like. I cut it out with a Nestie, round and scalloped ones. Made the little ribbon tabs and hilighted them with a white Sakura pen to match the green actual ribbon. The end. :)
Hey Judy. No, in fact the flowers that I used were from a dollar bin find. Those small clear stamp sets of 4 images, by Studio 112. I was confused when you and another gal were so excited about getting your stamp sets. I was thinking huh? It was on old dollar bin set, how are they getting those? LOL But, I am sure you can substitute any flower stamp. I love the look of white embossing on Kraft. I will CASE my own card for a Challenge, bawhahahaha LOL Take care. thanks for stopping by and looking. HUGS
Verna Angerhofer said… Thanks Judy for that nice comment on my Happy Father's Day Son card. My son and I must have been on the same wavelength as he skyped me shortly after I uploaded the card. It was a late Mother's Day visit. Also got to visit a bit with the youngest grandson from that branch of the family. So that was a great and wonderful surprise!
I do have that hexagon EF, it is the 5x7 one with the smaller sized hex matching border folder, pretty cool! Thanks for commenting. I hope YOU win that CAS challenge, your card (and I am looking at it RIGHT NOW) is ADORABLE! Love Ya!!!
Clare Pearce said… Thank you for leaving a comment for my 'friendship' card. I did enjoy making it and I am so glad you liked it.
Hi Judy, thanks so much for your lovely comments on my card gallery. BTW, which stamp set of flowers are you getting that looks like the flowers I used on my card with white embossed flowers on Kraft cardstock? Curious to know what set you think I have. Here's the funny part: I am pretty near sure this it is a random clear small stamp set from the dollar bin at either Michael's or Joann's. It's weird, because someone else said almost the same exact thing that you said. LOL It just startled me that two of my peeps said it! LOL Hey, write back and tell me, and I will look for that set and tell you the name, company, etc. okay??
