Well here we are in another new year... so much has eventuated over the last 12 months.. one twin GD married.. the other became a mummy.. I am so thrilled.. another GGD Ivy Jayne.. after my foster mother Ivy.. I predict that Ivy will be the new Fave name for 2013.
my rock David.. and I celebrate 48 years this year.. where have the years flown to?... and I reach the next big milestone of 70... (can that be right ) yes... it is... so much more to learn...
I wish…

WEll the great day went well, David looked so pleased with himself when he walked Kate Our GD down the aisle of the tiny chapel.. the service was so unique,Kate and Sandy wrote their own vows, quite funny in parts but very sincere.
all the family spruced up in their best... a lovely day ..filled with precious memories.. the first of our GD's to marry, and I think her twin will be next... and not so long off either.
time to relax, and maybe have a good spring clean in…

Lilia M Ramirez said… Hi Hazel. Thank you so much for your comments.
Helen, thank you for you lovely comment on my sons wedding card. I have been enjoying all your new inspirations.
Hello my friend! I do need to visit more often...your creations are gorgeous. I suppose you're settling in for winter, while we're enjoying our sunny summer now. My mother has had a difficult spring. In March, somehow, her ankle was broken - someone pushed her wheelchair while her foot was still on the floor and under the chair and it snapped her ankle - a month later, she rolled out of bed and hit her head quite hard. Fortunately, there was no brain injury. Presently, she's on the mend and for that I'm grateful. So sweet of you to inquire. I hope all is well with you and yours. Sophie must be getting so big! Hugs xxx
Thanks, Hazel, for your kind comments. I use a cardboard box that I have cut away one side and the top. I lined it with white cardstock. I have an OttLite that I place over the top of the box. It gives me a white background that I like, and the cards do seem to photograph better.
Barbara Brenneman said… Good Morning Hazel. Hope all is well in Salamander Bay! Thank you so much for your sweet comment on my Friendship card yesterday. I am so glad that you liked it. I'll be using that stamp lots I think. Take care and can't wait to see what you wow us with next.
Hazel, thanks so much for commenting on my Thank You card. I love the colors with this Stamp TV kit......so bright and beautiful!
Hello my dear friend!!! So happy to hear from you and thank you so much for stopping by and commenting on my card. Sending big hugs and lots of love.

Joan LaBelle said… I use the encaustic iron but not their paper or wax. I have 8 1/2 X 11 glossy cardstock and that is what I use for paper. Instead of the wax I use Crayola crayons. I'm sure any wax crayon would work if you don't have that brand available.
Joan LaBelle said… You're welcome. Your cards are always awesome! My sister was here for her birthday and was admiring the cards you sent me for Christmas & my birthday. She thought they were spectacular also.
The flowers on your card were done by needle tatting. I need a lot more practice but I'm definitely getting better. My latest one is on my blog.
