I am from a town of 1800 in Central Illinois called Mt. Pulaski.  My profession was a Registered Nurse, retiring in December of 2006 on my 37th wedding anniversary.  Makes it easy to remember.  My entire career was at the same hospital seeing many many changes.

I have been married 46 years.  My husband taught the Math curriculum at the local high school.  He retired in 2001.  We have 3 grown married children and 8 grandchildren ranging from age of one year to a Senior in High School. I got into stamping through my oldest daughter in 2001 first starting with chalks. Love creating my own greeting cards and amazed at what our imaginations can come up with.  So I attribute my cards to what "God and I" create.

Love this site, keep up the good work!

Thanks for the nice comment on my Sanat card. I have about six more to go and I think I am done then. Maybe make an extra in case I forgot someone. Oh, better yet! About 8 more as I forgot the Post Office and the Schwans man. LOL These will be clean and simple and hope to get them done today if possible. I need to get with baking then. I give both the Schwan's man and Post Office cookies each year and then need a card. The PO is always doing so much for me and I appreciate it. Our rural carrier is awesome.

Thanks so much Eleanor for checking out my Graduation Card. I normally would do more pastels but since it was for a graduation I figured the school colors would work too. I like the design layout and could very easily do it in other colors as well. If time permits will try to do another card for the challenge soon. But time is limited now with planting season here finally. You take care and have a great day.

ThumbnailEleanore, Thanks so much for leaving your kind comment on my Just a Little Piecing card. It is one of my favorite birthday stamps and always makes me smile, maybe because my cake is starting to look more & more like that every year!

Thanks so much Eleanor for stopping by and checking out my cased card of Tracy's. My! That was a challenge to find something that I had nearly all the supplies for. But this one was pretty close. The ribbons were different.
