Hi Cheri!  Always nice to hear from you!  Doggie beside me is Diesel.  We got him as a foster dog about four and a half years ago when Quincy was lost.  Diesel is ours now, and a great little dog.  Our standard poodle, Gunner, is also in the photo but he is too far over. : )

Thanks for the sweet comment Cheri! I love pretty paper and have lots, let me tell ya! Have lost my job, so no spending on craft, so am having fun going through all the abundance of stuff I have bought over the years ( I said there would come a day when all the hoarding would pay off lol) it's just like I have been shopping for new things hahaha! I am sorry to hear of your mom's mishaps, but do hope she  is feeling much better... I know from experience just how  easy it is to fracture an ankle... when outwalking with David I was commenting on someone's beautiful garden  and stepped off the concrete path.. went down like a pack of cards...lol...

Sophie is 8 going on 25! and is the proud aunty  of Ivy Jayne  6 mths... second GGD...  and as they all only  live 5 mins away  we get to see them  most days.

Cheri, thank you so much for your lovely comment on my "With Love" card.  My m-i-l has been in the nursing home for nearly three years. She told us recently she's only been there a few months.

Dementia/Alzheimers is horrible.  Wipes away so many lovely memories.  I'm sorry your mom has it too.

My own mother had it too, and in the end, had no idea who my sister and I were, and didn't know our deceased brother. We had a photo of him at the hospice, and she didn't even recognise him.  I think that was probably the hardest part of all.

Thanks for the prayers.  I'm praying for you and your mom too.
