Thanks, Cat, for the kind comment on my Thanks From The Heart card.  I think the aqua & orange is my new favorite color combo!  Appreciate your comment!

Hi Cat, thanks for commenting on my thank you card.  I love that dp.  I just didn't like the leaves with that blossom.  Maybe I'll leave them off next time.  Maybe they were designed to be used with one of the other blossoms from that set.

Thanks so much Cat for the lovely comment on my CAS sponged scene. I really like the stamps in that kit. So I use it a lot. And, doing a scene like this is so easy I think.

Thanks, Cat, for your kind comment on my MIUM Such a Good Friend challenge card. The die cut you asked about is a Marianne Creatables die called Rectangle Frame & Flourish #116.

Thanks Cat, the minute I saw those bold blossoms I thought they would be perfect for water coloring.  Loving that stamp set!

Cat, thank you for your sweet comments on my Pop of Green card, I truly appreciate it.  AND thank you for the advice on the Big Shot.  I really struggled to get those dies with all their tiny holes cut.  Was afraid my Cuttlebug was going to blow!!  Are all bigshots the same or is their one you might recommend?

Once again Cat, thanks for a great challenge and for the lovely comments on my Rockin' Red and Popping Dots cards. I had a great time with this challenge and it worked perfectly for CAS notecards.

Thanks Cat for taking the time to comment on my Pop of Pink challenge card. Haven't had time for challenges for awhile but this one caught my eye.

My mini album (photo intensive!) and a free stamp from Gina K!

Hey y'all!! I thought I'd hop onto the ole blog and tell you about a free stamp you can get from Gina K Designs!

I LOVE this saying, and can't wait until I get my stamp!

Ok, now the mini album. I have shown bits and pieces of this little 3x3 album I made, but thought I would share it page by page here on my blog. First, here is the matching box I made for the album:

Here is the front:

I used lots of different stamp sets, all from Gina K Designs. I am just gonna show the pictures, and if anyone has any questions, just email me! The email tab is up there! *points to the left hand side of blog* LOL!

Ok, here we goooooo!

It took me about a week working on and off on this. I used acetate, and vellum as a few of the pages, I really like what this added to the album. I have some journaling tags here and there that pull out...if and when I give this to someone, I will personalize it a bit on those. I used Graphic 45's French Country designer papers and stickers and chipboard pieces all through the album too. These are just soo fun to make...and look great sitting out as a little pretty for all to look at. My sister and daughter AND niece have all tried to swipe this one and one other I have made before this, lol!

Ok, thats all for today (as if not enough, lol!) Thanks for stopping by and dont forget to take advantage of that free stamp!!

Up first today is the new 'One Free with Three' stamp set, A Little Something. Here is what I have done for today with this set:

And here is the coaster/paperweight that is inside:

I LOVe making coasters/paper weights to give as gifts! And I found these bisque coasters at Michaels I believe it was and decided to color them up and then make a box to match. The mini pizza box fit these little coasters/paperweights just perfect! for my coasters, I used stayz on ink, but you have to stay away from the blank ink when coloring with copics or it will smear. And without thinking, I put a coat of varnish on with a brush, instead of using a spray one, and THAT make it streak a tad. Soo, my advice would be to use the spray on sealer! :D

Next up is the ever so fun mini Darling Diva sets by Debbi Corbari all from Gina K Designs. Here is my first card I made using the Mr. & Mrs. Diva set:

I went with the customary black/white with red for my bride and groom! :D I'm old fashioned like that...and yea, I cry at weddings...dont even have to know the people, I still will cry, LOL!

Here is another card I made using the Rainy Day Diva:

I did some paper piecing on her umbrella and the clouds...colored her up with copic markers Stuck a bit of bling here and there and was done! :D

Ok, ready for more eye candy? Here ya go:

Up first today is Beth Silaika's newest set called Weather Or Not. Super fun images and sentiments in this set! Here is what I have done for today with this set:

I was gonna just have an all black/white card and then had lightbulb moment to add the sun peeking out in color! I also used a glitter pen, but you cant really see it in this pic! Here is one with this set too, with the clouds 'silver lining' :D

I used the same pen on this, to give it that shimmer. The clouds are paper pieced on this one....LOVE how this turned out! :D

Ok, up next is Theresa Momber's newest set called By The Sea. And true to Theresa's style, these images are sooo very realistic! Here is what I have for today:

I would so love to be sitting on that dock to see that moon! :D I colored this using oil crayons and my finger as a paint brush, lol! Here is another card I did using this set too:

I was going for a little tranquil scene on the beach....it turned out ok, should have added some water though, lol!

Ok, ready for more eye candy? Here ya go:

Up first for you today is Tami Mayberry's newest set called Simple Flowers. I also combined it with Carolyn King's new set, Stamp It Big! 2. Here is my card for today:

This was super quick to make, and I love those! :D That button with the crochet, I got that at Michael's and got lucky that it matched the Gina K Ocean Mist so good! Carolyn's set will just work with so many things too! Here is another card I made using Carolyn's set, Stamp It Big! 2:

I paper pieced the house on this one, the papers I used had that bottom border and the birdie already on it. I just cut so it would work for my card...and I punched out a scallop edge to attach where the stamp has a scallop edge. It was much easier to do that than try to cut it out with having done the paper piecing. I love the whimsical feel of this one! :D

Ok, ready for some awesome eye candy? here ya go:

Gina K Designs May Release Inspiration Hop -- Day 1!!

Hey y'all!! Welcome to our first day of blog hops for this release!

We have two stamps sets to showcase for you today. First up is Melanie Muenchinger's newest set called, Pretty Patterns 2...and oh my! the possibilities with this set are endless!! Here is what I have for you today:

I used the chevron pattern and stamped then cut 1/2" strips and did this off-setting pattern...(there is a name for it and my cold infected brain cannot remember at the moment! LOL) I was needing a masculine card for a friend, thus no ribbon and the gears! I also used Carolyn King's newest set , Stamp it Big 2, the Hello, for the sentiment. We will be showcasing her set later in the week!

Next up is Becky Oehlers' newest set called Bold Blooms... And this is another set that has all kinds of possibilities!! Here is one I have for today:

For this card, I was playing around with ink sprays. I stamped the big flower in white and also embossed it with white embossing powders. Then I spritzed some sprays onto a craft sheet and dipped my stamped image into all the inks. It sparkles really nice IRL! I then made the background by using images from the same set, and I doodled the black lines on.

Ok, ready for some awesome eye candy? Here are the links to my fellow DT...I'm sure you will not be disappointed!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Be sure to come on back tomorrow! We will have 2 more stamps to inspire you with!
