Thanks, Brenda. I appreciate you getting back to me on the Captivating Squares dies. That is a very elegant one and I'll have to be looking for it. Have a wonderful day!

My Blog- Stamp-It-Up

Hello, remember me?  I am back after a long break.  This is a card I made for  a very special person at work who came back out of retirement to help us out when we needed it badly.  Now it is time for him to go back to his retired life.  We wish him well and are so grateful for his help.  This was enough for me to get inspired to make a card again.  I decided that this guy from His and Hers Camper set would be perfect for this occasion.  I am also entering this card in Art Impressions challenge #186
Aging with Attitude.

Thank you for stopping by,

Hello.   I just noticed I haven't posted in six weeks.  All I can say it has been a  busy summer and I haven't been making many cards.  I do miss getting crafty so hopefully soon I will get back to making a card now and again.

I have a card I made last week for the current Power and Spark challenge on Power Poppy, Shabby & Chic.
I used Power Poppy's Countryside Bouquet Deluxe and colored with copics.  The edges of the layers are distressed.

Thank you for stopping by.

Copics: B000, B00, BV000, BV01, E21, E23, R20, R21, R22, Y32, Y35, YG61, YG63, YR21, YR24, YR27

Happy Birthday!

Hello I am back with another card for Art Impressions Create with Christmas challenge: to use Christmas stamps...but not for Christmas!
For this card I used Ugly Sweater set.  To get the sweater "non" Christmas I stamped on some copy paper and cut it out creating a mask and then using a Misti I was able to line up the image and the mask so that I would get a stamped image without the Christmas decorations.  For the jingle bells on her shoes, earrings and pom pom on her hat I used some painters tape that I cut to fit and put it on the stamp while I inked it up and then before stamping I removed the tape and it served to resit the ink.  I then had to do a little touch up with a fine black marker to fill in the gaps left by removing the Christmas parts of the stamp.  I colored the whole image with copics and finished the sweater with some white dots with a Pit Pen.

Thank you for stopping by,
 Copics: BG32, E13, E50, E51, N1, N3, N5, R32, RV19, Y26

Happy Birthday Snowman

Hello I have a card I made for Art Impressions latest challenge  AI 163 Create with Christmas: to use Christmas stamps...but not for Christmas!
For this card I used Art Impressions Christmas For All set.  I decided to break out my dusty Prismacolor pencils.
