"Thank you lovinpaper and Judy.  I thought the lily looked 3D too.  Love those distress oxide inks!  I couldn't have done it without them."

"Beautiful lily!  I like how you placed the sentiment and made it all one layer, even though it doesn't look one layer."

"Beautiful card, and I have to try that.  Could I make a suggestion though?  Could you speed up the video sometimes when you're doing one thing?  For this card, it was about 2 minutes of watching you ink the background."

Shabby Spring Double Background Technique

"Joan, you don't need a tutorial.  There's a right side and a wrong side to a piece of cardstock.  Just lay a piece of card stock over your hand (or finger).  If it lays flat, that's the wrong side.  If it bends…"

Emboss Resist Butterfly Lace- Melanie Muenchinger

"I love this card and plan to try the technique tonight.  But I noticed when you were stamping that you were "rocking" the butterfly stamp.  I was always taught that this is a definite no-no as it smears the ink."

Weathered Wood Background

"What a fantastic background!  I tried it, and it was so easy.  I made a card using this technique for a friend of mine who lives in the woods in Minnesota.  Put snow-frosted evergreen trees on the front, and it turned out great."
