GKD Bday with Feathers!

"Love how you did the feathers. They look like those paintings where there is a scene painted in an image. The feathers have a sunset on the ocean look - the bottom of the feathers look kind of like waves."

Thanks Anna! Somehow the bright pink appealed to me that day when I made the spotlight card.

Thank you Anna for all the nice comments on several of my cards. Regarding the Bokeh circles. I had watched several youtube videos on this technique and on one of them the demonstrator mentioned that sometimes the white circles will fad out too much. She suggested covering them several times over which is what I did. I used a Recollections pigment ink pad which is very juicy and it seemed to work. The thing is that after the ink has dried one gets a bit of a powdery white substance on fingers when handling the card. I'm hoping that I can get it off before I actually use it for someone as I don't think it would be appreciated by the recipient. Anyway that is how I did it and I think that you should try again and experiment. You may end up with something outstanding and based on some of the cards in your gallery others would be impressed too.

If you mean what do I do with the cards that I liked or comment on I some times just look at them now and then because they are so pretty or I make a card similar or case it when I make one.I have so many liked it is like my recipes I can spend an hour easy just looking through them. Fun doing that too. Wow 900 is great to have posted I don't post all of mine because of the time to take the picture and then upload it and I just forget some times too.Congratulations on your posting 900, you do a wonderful job on your cards.

Good Morning Anna!  Thank you for your super kind words on my Watercolor scene card, doesn't that Hammock just look dreamy?  I agree!!  I love that set, and I also love to watercolor, it always creates a different result, and fun to do!!  You have really outdone yourself, number 900???  WOW, amazing!  I am happy that I can get 1 or two out in a week!  LOL  You are the queen of the cards!!  You do an amazing job and really try so many different techniques and styles, I love it!  Very inspiring, keep up the good work!  Have a wonderful day in sunny Arizona!  Greetings!

I see you have been checking out my recent cards. And, hope you can find a way to make your splats too. I love them as well. Also I love the bokeh look as well. That is so fun to do. And, my leek card was a fluke as to my artistic drawing skill. LOL
