I have been saving this tea tin for a while now. I just couldn't get rid of it and with this week's challenge, I knew exactly what I was going to make, lol! It would make a great gift holder for cookies, candy, little trinkets, or even more tea!…

Judy Woodland replied to Angela's discussion Embossing using colored ink
"Pigment inks, as opposed to dye inks, work best. Only because they don't dry as fast and you have more time to get that powder on them. The key is to get the powder to stick. You can use Memento Inks if you work fast, but you get better results…"

Thanks so much Angela for the lovely comment on my rose card with the gold. I sure love both the sets that were used in that set.

Hi Angela! Glad you liked my gold challenge cards. Nothing like a little bling and glitz to add sparkle to a card. Thanks so much for your lovely comments, I really appreciate it. Oh, and I love your gallery!!!

Angela, my goodness, but you are FAR too kind! I very much appreciate all that you said about my gold card! I agree with you about that ribbon. I've been hoarding mine, too! The nearest Michael's is about a 3hr drive from where I live, and I don't know if they even still carry it...

Hi Angela, I'm sorry that I missed your post about casing my card.  You did a fabulous job.  Love the Bonjour on it too.  I miss chatting with you on the STV chats, not sure why that went away.  Your cards are all so beautiful.  I'm checking out your gallery.  I need to spend more time back on Gina's site so I don't miss anything. :)  I hope you're doing well. Thanks again so much!

Hi Angela~ Glad you like my Mickey waterfall card. They are so much fun to make. I appreciate your nice comments, thanks so much!

Thanks so much for commenting on my Waterfall card.  It was a fun one to make, but very difficult to display for a picture.  The first part of the waterfall is the left side of the bird stamp.  The second is the right side of the bird stamp.  The third is one of the flower stamps and the last is the butterfly.  All the stamps used are from the Petals & Wings set.

Thanks for commenting on my card.  What is crazy is that I put it together backwards:  I wanted the words (message) glued  on the inside and the hearts as the slider but because I glued the hearts onto the base first by mistake, I just went with it.  Next one will be right.  Fun new technique, though.

Cuttlebugs and Gina K

The year was 2011, the month...November. Why is this important? Why, this is when I first learned about Cuttlebugs and Gina K! Some would say, "A plastic, hand cranked, die cutting machine and a sweet, dark-haired woman, who makes amazing cards, changed your life?!?" I would firmly, but simply answer, "Yes!"

You see, I was sitting outside in my car waiting for my son to finish basketball practice, when I came across a short post on a blog I read from time to time. Can I just… Continue
