Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

This is my card for Richard's FFAF challenge. I made my background paper using Pretty Patterns and then colored the squares with various Copic "brown" markers. I stamped the Wild About You Giraffe and sentiment and colored, cut and mounted it. I used some spooled raffia and opened it up and cut it into tiny pieces and then stuck it onto the back of the layered girafffe. All products are Gina K with the exception of the card base.

I adore this...combining the Pretty Pattern set and the Wild About You giraffe works perfectly. I am so amazed how that background set of images for making one's own paper is so universal.

Love the combo of the stamp sets, and love the raffia texture!

This is great, Susan.  The raffia is suggestive of the "mane" (if that's the right word) that runs down a giraffe's neck.
