Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

My card for Sylvia's "Let's Get Waxy MIUM challenge to use the was paper embossing background (never that successful for me) but here goes:
GKD: Hello Sunshine stvkit, Cherry Red ink and cardstock, black onyx ink and pure white cardstock.
Darice Fireworks embossing folder, Cheery Lynn's Double Scallop Border die, Sakura clear star pen.
The flowers in this set remind me of fireworks, so I stamped them using the Silhouette files and them embossed part of the image on the cherry red block. I'm wondering if I should have used stars for my focal image???

Thanks for looking.

Gayle you did a great job with this challenge. I like the design and the focal image looks great as is. Thanks for playing along with us this week.

I like the way you carried the firework theme through the card. The red color is so pretty!

Love how this turned out, especially the Cherry red to show off.
