Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Used an old CD and added the doily die cut in holographic green paper. Then I cut out the candles from the rectangle double stitched set in red and silver. Added the flame but coloured a bit of orange to the bottoms. Used a Sue Wilson set of poinsettia dies in white with the tops in red vellum. Added them with the leaves. Added the sentiment on a piece of white card stock. Didn't quite get the braided cord in the right place but too late to fix it now. Who says it has to be perfect - lol?

Great project. I like the idea of using an old CD for an ornament. The holographic  doily is a great touch.

Love the holographic doily; I bet it's fantastic IRL.  Such a clever idea, too.  I love making ornaments.  I may have to
"borrow" your idea.
