Swirl Tree
I used my favorite one layer device to make my layered look background. It is simply a stamp pad and this happened to be a sort of half dried up chalk type, but you know I like that look as it sort of looks like a snowfall in the background too. I then stamped the Swirl Tree, little Christmas balls and the saying by Theresa Momber from the Joyful Holiday set manufactured by Gina K. Designs. Since it is World Card Making Day, I thought I would participate and make some of my Christmas cards.

Oh how clever, love that idea and probably NEVER would have thought of just using the ink pad (smacks hand to forehead!) Duh! AND a pretty card!

Another lovely card with this faux layer look. Love it. I couldn't play along today, had a bridal shower to go to. Just got back, but tomorrow I plan to try this.
