Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

I have never tried a split negative before, so I decided to give it a try. I used the butterfly from Hope if Faith duo. I mounted the focal on grey paper to make it stand out from the background better. Then saw the Thank You sentiment from Summer Blooms and that seemed to be the right size. Then thought it needed something else and decided the butterfly border from A Wish For You would work. I used Grey Flannel Memento ink for the border and sentiment. Now I have a few thank you cards to add to my stash.

Beautiful cards.  Perfect for Thank You cards.

I love that you used the grey to mat the images, that was clever.

Plus, those butterflies by the sentiment is just perfect!  Well done, for your first try!!

These turned out very nice.  Don't you love the butterfly?  Love how you added the border and the sentiment.  Great idea.
