Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

According to my records, Cat’s “I Can See Clearly Now” is the only challenge I hadn’t done, because I was out of town. I have been trying to figure out what to do, then as I was looking through the gallery for this challenge I saw the one lovinpaper did and she mentioned she used heat resistant acetate. Then the lightbulb went off – I bought some of that when I stopped by Village Paper and Ink last Spring and bought a pack particularly so I could do this challenge. Then the challenge was to find it. Once found, the challenge was what to do with it. I’m putting together a Happy New Year basket to give our good neighbors who keep an eye on our home when we’re gone, take in our paper and mail, and he does our yard work or other odd jobs we need done. I won’t go into all the gory details of my adventures with embossing powders, but finally decided the best way to do this would be to stamp the sentiment from Sparkling Christmas in Versafine, then use Gina’s gold CS behind it. Acetate is as difficult to photograph as metallic CS, but I think you can get the idea and see that I really did use acetate.

Good job!  I have found this to be the best acetate I have ever used.
