Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

The snowflake dies are from the Sparkling Christmas kit. I used the Target gold glitter paper and placed 1” Scor-Tape across the back before cutting. Getting all the adhesive backed hanging chads out of the die was a challenge in itself. I attached the snowflakes to a piece of red metallic CS from my stash and wrapped the gold cord around it. I wanted to use Gina’s Gold CS for the card base, but the sentiment did not show up and I did not have time to emboss it. I have really gotten to love Prickly Pear as an alternative to gold, so that’s what I used for the base. Joy from Peace and Joy was the only vertical holiday sentiment I had, and besides the inspiration was a box of chocolates, which always brings me Joy. This is not the card I envisioned, but I like it. And Wow! I’ve got a start on next Christmas.
