Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Nothing says spring to me like seeing irises in bloom. I think the iris from Stately Flowers 8 is probably my favorite of all Melanie’s flowers. I stamped the flower with my Memento Grape Jelly Marker and the stem with Bamboo Leaves. I used Copics V000, V01, V15, V25, V28, Y15, YG63, YG23, YG03. I stamped it on a piece of Pure Luxury Heavy White, but it needed something. I found a piece of Parisian Garden PP that I thought would work and cut it with Spellbinders Divine Eloquence. Cutting CS with these intricate dies is a challenge for me, but I thought the thinner PP would be a piece of cake. Wrong! I can’t tell you how many times I put it through the Cuttlebug to get all the pieces cut enough to pop out. But I really like the result.
