Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

I used a strip of pipe tape and added alcohol inks: Expresso, Terracotta and Butterscotch before embossing it in the Cuttlebug Bubbles folder. I thought it sort of looked like the hide of the giraffe. I needed a masculine birthday card so I went with this theme. I colored the scene with my colored pencils and gamsol.

Egads, woman.  This is stunning.  We must think alike.  I JUST gave my daughter and family a Thank You card that I alcohol inked, ran thru Cuttlebug with the Mesh folder, cut into a panel.  I punched out butterflies (of course, giggle)  Its one of the cards I'm gonna put up on my page.  I need to get to that, but, I can't stop looking at all of your fabulous cards.  Nice body of work.  Giraffe, looks real.  Love the caramel colored panels with black, such a jungle-y look.  LOL  A beauty.  Well done.

Dear Verna - your genius never ceases to amaze me! Is it the same thing as Duck Tape? (My husband, the plumber at Home Depot) we have lots of that! It does look like giraffe! Lovely coloring with your pencils and gamsol! I appreciate your entering this into the challenge - so gorgeous - sending you hugs, rosy
