Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Got the idea for this card from a tutorial at splitcoast stampers. Started with the (unbranded) die cut mermaid and added the ribbon die cuts to the tail so each edge is popped up over the previous one. When dry trimmed it to the tail shape. Used prisma pencils to add other details and a nuvo glitter pen to add sparkles to tail. Had a piece of distress oxide CS from another project and I added the waves to it by wetting the stencil and pressing it onto the inked area. Then I added the stamped seaweed and using a water pen filled in a bit of extra colour. I die cut this piece to get a wavy edge and added fun foam to back for dimension. I had done some nail polish marbling and had a piece for background and I then added the water piece to center. Popped up the mermaid on top and also the sentiment piece. The sentiment was stamped twice - once with peacock feather oxide and then again with versa mark over which I sprinkled a verdigris EB and heat embossed. Got a slight shadow doing it this way. Fussy cut it to fit. The wavy frame was done using a Penny Black die. Made for both this months challenge and for the Modsquad this week. http://modsquadchallenge.com/3522-2/
