Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Here’s my wreath for the Mod Squad Challenge. This turned out kind of like Mandala wreath. I stamped the pine cone from Holiday Frame in Warm Cocoa. The first time around I stamped just in the square orientation. Then I put the pine cone at a different angle and stamped it in the diamond orientation. The pine branch from Holiday Wreath Builder was stamped in Grass Green, Jelly Bean Green and Fresh Asparagus. Shaping it around the pine cones just kind of gave it a Mandala look. Using my fun new brush (thanks Bonnie) I lightly brushed Jelly Bean Green to cover the white spots around the pine cones. The ornament from Holiday Frame was stamped in Red Hot and colored with Copic R27. I covered the ornaments with Wink of Stella Clear and used Wink of Stella Gold on the hanger. Cutting these gave a whole new meaning to the term “fussy cutting”. I popped them up with Gina’s new foam squares cut down. For the mat I cut a piece of Target gold wrapping paper and attached it to some junk cardstock for stability then trimmed it slightly larger than the focal panel. The sentiment is from Scripty Holiday.

This is so clever Judy. I just love it and I'm sure you must be happy with the results yourself.
