I paper pieced the background for this card. It was really fun and I love the result. A little fussy, but not too bad. I also cut out the middle so that the sentiment could be recessed and framed with the main image. The glitter from the clear Sakura gel pen sets off all the tulips and leaves, and I also applied it to the oval frame.

A beautiful card and so special the sentiment on it.  I am in need to some sympathy cards right now and I am going to CASE this one.  It melted my heart.
