Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Here's a card I created for the Mix It Up Monday challenge. I used an old embossing folder that I've had sitting around FOREVER and was so happy to get a chance to use it when I saw this texture challenge. In addition, I enhanced the detail of it by applying distress ink to it. I thought it would go perfectly with the sentiment from Theresa Momber's set By The Sea along with the bird images. Thanks for a great challenge Vicki!

What a great way to use this embossing folder!  I've had it sitting around forever too - must pull it out and try this technique.  Your ribbon, button and DP look fantastic with it.  Super card!

I love how you used the Cuttlebug folder. I have that one and love to see it used uniquely.
