Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

I made this for a very special friend who, even though she has her own health issues, went out of her way to make me feel better when my mum passed away. I used stamps from Boho Flowers and Sentimental Bouquet. I used pearlised water colour paints on Tim Holtz Watercolor Cardstock. The paints are from a cheap set I bought at a craft store in Australia. The 'you' is stamped using GKD Kraft ink and I used the die from the set to cut it out. I also cut out one in dark chocolate and layered slightly offset. I stamped the greeting using versamark on GKD dark chocolate cs. Inks used in the flowers are GKD Wild Dandelion, Honey Mustard and Tomato Soup and stamped on GKD Ivory layering weight cs. I used Jelly Bean Green for the leaves. I then used versamark and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder. The card base is GKD Dark Chocolate cs. The final touch was to use Antique Gold Perfect Pearls mixed with water and splattered (for want of a better word) on the background. Thanks for looking!

Jan I know your friend will love this beautiful card.

It is so pretty with that shimmery back ground and how can you go wrong with pretty yellow flowers.

It is just lovely.

Wow, you have been busy.  This one is gorgeous too.  Love the way you did the background behind the flowers.

I really love this card Jan. It is so beautiful and I'm sure your friend will love it. My new watercolours have a pearlised look and I think it makes a difference when they are used. Yours look great here.
