Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

My card for Laurie's "Gray Is the New Black" monthly June monthly mix challenge includes:
GKD: A Wish for You and Rose Bouquet stamp sets. Not sure the pink color of cardstock in my layers but definitely GKD.
So not a piece of gray cardstock to be found in my stash so I colored around my stamped image with Spectrum Noir BGR3 which may have matched the GKD Moonlit Fog but I couldn't even find a piece of that. Colored the roses with Bic Markers and then embossed the sentiment and rose image with silver embossing powder.

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Gorgeous card, Gayle, I love how you have utilised your supplies and love how you have used your spectrum noirs to make a grey background, that must have taken a while to colour.  The rose stamp you have chosen is beautiful and I love shades of pink you have used to colour in your roses.  Pink and grey definitely are great colour combinations to choose and the addition of the little pink ribbon just adds a lovely finishing touch to your card.  Great looking card :)

So beautiful and I love the way you did your gray background. The flowers are so pretty as well and look awesome against the gray.

Very pretty. You did a great job coloring the flowers. The hand colored background gives a really nice texture.

Great minds Gayle - I went with pink and gray too and even used a rose stamp. I'm always amused when that happens. Love your card and the pretty roses. I like how you added just a small piece of ribbon to one corner - it definitely adds something extra to the design.
