Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

My card for Karen's MIUM challenge to create a gradient background and extra points for a one-layer card.
GKD: Beth's Weather Or Not stamp set, Pure Ivory heavy wt cardstock, Dark Chocolate, Faded Brick and Honey Mustard inks.
Also used: Memento Dandeline ink, bic markers, Kaiser colour glitter get pen, Spellbinders Lotus Pendant.
Hope this qualifies as a gradient background...not many creative juices flowing this week. My sun is for my grandson and for all of the talk about the solar eclipse later this month made me think of the sun and it's rays. Either that or the fact that every other day we have rain in Pennsylvania...Lol....thanks for looking. Happy Weekend!

Very, very pretty.  I love the  idea of  doing a gradient sun this month.  You did an awesome job.

I think it is pretty Gayle. Nicely designed and the sun is lovely. Your grandson will love it. Too bad about your weather. Hope you see some sunshine soon. We have been dealing with humidity and heat mixed in with smoke from all the forest fires for the  past 10 days. Not very nice either but today it has cooled and cleared a bit and rain is forecast so hopefully that will help with the fires and the smoke.

Your eclipse card is wonderful. I haven't used my Lotus pendant for a long time and never thought of using it as a stencil. Thanks for the great inspiration.
