Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

My card for Cat's "You Bet your Sweet Acetate" July monthly challenge to incorporate acetate on your card project.
GKD: Sunshine & Love Stamp TVKit, Dazzling Dahlia, Pure Ivory and Dark Chocolate cardstock, fine detail embossing powder.

My card base is acetate which I gold embossed then added center panels outside and inside both layers and back to cover the tape. Added a little self adhesive gems to cover a smudge.....How does that keep on happening!! It's different but I believe I may like it.

Happy July and Happy Canada Day to our northern friends and Happy Independence Day to all in the US.

Wow, Gayle this is a stunner :) Your gold embossing is really delicate and elegant, you have done a fantastic job with the embossing on the acetate.  Acetate and embossing is not my forte but you have nailed it :)  I really like how you have centred your flower it really makes the whole card pop.  Gems and embellishment are a god send when hiding up little inky finger prints :) Fantastic card, I love everything about it :)

Great card. The gold embossing is wonderful. What else would you use a self adhesive gem for? LOL. Smudges happen and it's always great when you can do something to save the card.

You had better like it my girl - it is gorgeous and so creative. Jan said - gems are meant to cover up mistakes. I often get inky fingers - don't notice and voila another smudge somewhere I don't want it. Great cover up.

Wow, Gayle! This is so beautiful! Love the gold flowers embossed on the base. Such a stunning effect. Pretty sure that self adhesive gems were invented to cover smudges LOL.
