Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

I decided I would be needing some gift cards and this square die is about perfect for making a gift card. Not only is my daughter getting married but I have a great niece getting married too and this will be put to good use. I used the saying I got in a grab bag and it is from the Floral Wreath Stamp set and the butterfly is from the Spring Mix set. I also used some glitter pens on the butterfly but I am afraid it does not show very well. The pattern paper is from Gina K. Designs as well.

By the way..added a photo to my gallery showing how to align the die on a folded card. This can be done with any dies for cool shaped cards.

To make my fold on this card I first had the prefolded card done already. Then if you look on the cutting side of the die you will see the cutting edge and normally to make just a layer you would simply put it in the middle of the cardstock and diecut it. But with a folded card, you place it right along the fold edge but leaving a space so that it will make a sort of hinge in the design. I look at it upside down to line it up. Then you diecut it with your machine. Because it is a double layer you might have to run it through more than once to get a sharp cut. I hope you can understand what I mean.
