Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

I did a CASE of a card I did recently in an Autumn theme which I will be sending out to shutins for Thanksgiving. http://stamptv.ning.com/photo/autumn-signs Only this time I turned it into a Winter theme card which can be for all the winter holidays or just for a notecard. I used a Cuttlebug folder from the Winter Wonderland collection. I again sanded the pattern off to make it pop more. I then added some ribbon from American Crafts before I mounted this onto the darker blue base card. I stamped the snowflake from the new incentive set called Snowflake with Gina K. Designs Powder Blue ink. Once the snowflake was dry I fussy cut it out. I then added embossing ink from a Hero Arts dauber style bottle. When it was completely covered I sprinkled the snowflake with Sparkle N Sprinkle EP 107 called Sparkle. This is a clear EP with some flecks of glitter in it.

How pretty! It looks all frosty and sparkly and that ribbon is a perfect match!

Great texture & glitz!  It does POP with your sanding......must remember to take out my Core'dinations cardstock, it's buried in a drawer somewhere!  Awesome card!

This is beautiful! I am so grateful for the details -- I've got to try the sanding to see if I can get such a nice effect. The blues are so nice.

Wow Verna! I read how you made this card and it is STUNNING! I can feel that swirly wind on your embossed panel and the little white that pops out here and there - it makes it feel cold and snowy!!!! {in love}

Very pretty card, Verna.  I've never sanded on my cards, but I love the look....well done!

Beautiful, Verna! I love your detailed description, as well. I need to check out this HA dauber. I just smash stuff I want to emboss down into my VM pad, but I like the sounds of your method as well.
