Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Make a bookmark. I had this one started for another challenge. It was lying on my stamp table just bare white with the perforated edge done already and my niece was here for the day and helped me with some things. She thought it was the coolest idea. She had never seen a cuttlebug so i had her emboss that top layer and after she left, i thought, why not make this and give it to her. In the small picture you can see how she can tear off the bookmark part to use and keep the card for her desk. I know these are some of her favorite colors.

What a great gift for your niece, and that she helped with it makes it even more special. When I saw the border punch you used, I had to smile.  I just posted mine and when you take a look at it you will know why.

Janeen, very beautiful and so creative.  I never would have thought of a detachable bookmark!

Not only will she enjoy this, but it may get her interested in card making as well.  Wouldn't that be nice?

Very clever idea Janeen.  Who can't use a new bookmark every now and again.  It's fun to see a new way to "re-purpose" a beautiful card and especially if you had a hand in making it.  Love your idea and your gorgeous card.
