Share 'for the modsquad challenge. - Its all in the Color'
Inspired by many of Bonnies creations as she just loves doing backgrounds. Started off with glossy card stock which i dry embossed. Then I sprayed with various glimmer mists that I've had for ages. It needed more colour so added sprinkles of Color burst powders, perfect pearl spray and some additional water. I let it all run together and moved the colours by tilting the card stock here and there. Blotted any excess that I didn't like and left it to dry. I also sprayed two smaller pieces of regular card stock with a pink glimmer mist and some gold perfect pearly spray and left them to dry as well. I liked the background piece so much I didn't want to cut it up so I trimmed it down to tidy up the sides and mounted it over the top of a card base which I had covered with some foil. Had a rectangle panel in kraft CS left over from another project and decided to use the candle die from GKD double stitched set to decorate it. Cut candles in different colours and then added to panel. Added foil cut flames. Used a poinsettia die set to cut out the flowers from the pink stock and some foliage dies for the greenery . Added them to bottom of rectangle. No white or cream used in this project and I love the result. http://modsquadchallenge.com/its-all-in-the-color/
