Card Creator Machines and more . . .

Hello Future Members:

This group is about card making machines, such as the cuttlebug machine, the cricut, the big shot, the grand calibur and other machines I am not aware of.  These machines were created to create a masterpiece using everyone's gifs and talents in card making abilities.

So if anyone has any new tips and techniques you use with the machine you have, please feel free to share with us here.

Hi! I just purchased a Cuttlebug. The C plate does not come with the machine anymore. Do I need to purchase one? What would it be used for? Thanks!

I am pretty new to the group formats and am still figuring out how things get organized in posts!  I did not know you could come to it from Pinterest.

I have had my Cuttlebug for many years and do love it.  I got a Silhouette and set it up a month ago.  I have only used it once so far.  It seems much easier to just put a die in a machine and crank away!  But everyone loves the electronic ones so I think I just need practice.

Do you have an electronic cutter too?

DonnaBarb - Seems like my notifications are kinda haphazard, too.  I will try to drop by more often without notification (instead of a trip to Pinterest!).  Nice meeting you.

Hi Ruth.

Sharon:   That is funny about not checking the site unless notified, I do that with the other group I am in and would check here too with notification.  However I was at the other group and thought I would pop in and check this one. Lo, there were 2 comments but I never got notified...hmmm.  (yes, I have it on 'follow')

So maybe we need to check it anyway.  I noticed that a few older questions were posted but not answered so maybe no one gets notified from this group.

Nice to meet you anyway!  :)

DonnaBarb, I must admit, I don't follow the group as much as I thought I would.  I do make comments when I think I can help someone, but I don't check the site unless I get a notification.

Does anyone still follow this group?

Metty:  Forgot to say but I use sticky notes to hold things in place all the time, don't know if that helps or if that is what you meant.

Thanks - I'm trying everything.

Hello, I am a member of another group and was looking around -- thought I might also join this one though it does not seem to be used much.

Maybe we can get it going again!

Metty:  I too have and love the Cuttlebug.  I use it more than the electronic ones.  I just wish they had not stopped making dies.  The Sizzix dies do fit except for the biggest.  That Tim Holtz die may fit.  If it says for the Big Shot Pro then I do not think it will fit the Cuttlebug.  And 6" is the max for the die size I have found.

I would not recommend using them without the plates as it may ruin the roller.
