Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Good Day everyone!

I know it isn't Friday or even Thursday, but I wanted to get this posted early. We are leaving in a few hours to head to my family's about 3 hours away and I will be home late Friday, so I thought you all might want the tutorial early. So this is Thanksgiving week, and I want to take a minute to say a few things and I will post that at the bottom! :)

So, Lets get on with this tutorial!

This week I want to share a Give Thanks card.

I used the White Wash technique on this card project.

This is a fun little technique to do and so I thought

it would be nice with these sweet pumpkins!  :)

I used the following Gina K. Designs items:

*Stamp Set -   Give Thanks from Gina K.

*Pattern Paper Pack - Give Thanks

*Pure Luxury Card Stock - Fresh Asparagus, White Layering Weight,

  and Kraft

*Gingham Ribbon - Kraft

*Fine Detail Embossing Powder - White

*Premium Dye Inks - Dark Chocolate, Sweet mango, tomato Soup,

    & Fresh Asparagus

*Premium Pigement Ink - White

Foam Squares to pop panel up and bling from my stash

So lets get started and this is really a fun and quick technique!  :)

So I took the kraft piece 2 1/2"  X  3 3/4" ,and used the embossing magic and rubbed all over the kraft. Stamped My Pumpkins and the leaf with Versa Mark and then embossed in the White Fine Detail Powder.

Then I took the White Pigment Ink and put some on my stamping block. I used my water brush that I emptied. but I did put a few drops of water out to the edge of the block. That way I could pick up water if I wanted to thin the white, and I did a little. As you can see below I didn't color in the whole thing. Where you add white it will be lighter and where you don't, you will get a deeper color.

I then added Sweet Mango & Tomato Soup to my stamping block. I cleaned my water brush tip and used it. I used it pretty dry with just a little water standing by when I needed it. I then colored in with Sweet Mango and added the Tomato Soup to darken it. Did the same for the leaf!  :)

Then Added the Fresh Asparagus to the block and colored in the stems and part of the leaf with the water brush!

I then stamped my Greeting and added the panel to my card! :)

Here is my finished card project!  :)  <3

Before you get to the card, I want to say Thank You To All of You!

I am so blessed to get to come here on Fridays and share some things that I really love doing!  You all are wonderful and I truly appreciate your comments and feed back!  You all make this group fun and I love that we get to share Our Love for paper crafting!  <3

A year ago when I was asked if I wanted to take over this group, I wasn't sure I could do it or that I would do it as well as Tricia Did! <3

I remember saying I had some big shoes to fill......

and a very smart lady told me....

"You don't have to fill her shoes, you have

your own shoes and they fit just fine!"  <3

She said "You have your own style and they will be happy

with you and your projects"

So I want to take a minute to say

Thank You for making me feel Welcome and for participating in the Challenges and commenting on the tutorial!  <3

I love you all and hope you all have a Wonderful and Safe Thanksgiving!

<3 So, Just Know, I am Giving Thanks!  <3 :)

That is it for me this week!  :)

and I will see you next week with a new Challenge!

Have a Blessed Day my sweets!
