Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Hi Everyone and Welcome to this weeks Stamp Tv Kit Addicts Group!

This Friday Funday is going to be a little different!  :)

So let me start off by saying this is a Challenge Friday Funday!

What we are going to do is this!  :)

I want you to think about the things you like to do best when creating your cards!

Is it a Technique? Or is it a certain style or design.

Maybe a layout you prefer!

Maybe your style is lots of layers or even Clean and Simple or even lots of bling…

Then when you decide what is your favorite, create your card.

When you up load it to the gallery with the tag. Come back here and tell me why it is your favorite design, technique, and such……    :)

I am just curious why we like certain things more than others.

If you have more than one favorite,

You can create a different card for Up to 3 different entries!

On your card entry in the area where you type the details when uploading your card… , please type yes or no if you want to be eligible to do a tutorial! ????

DO I Have Your Interest Peeked?   ;)  Hehehe!

The first Friday in October, the (7th).

I will randomly pick a winner on the card entry for the

Wonderful Prize of a $20.00 gift Code from Gina K. Designs

like we do for each month, (Thank You Gina) <3

and then I will do another drawing for one person to do a

Stamp Tv Kit Friday Funday Tutorial!  :)

You will get to do a tutorial of your choice. Using your stamps from a Stamp Tv Kit creating a step by step tutorial.  :)  Won’t that be fun!!!  :)  If you need,

I will help walk you through the posting process, so don’t worry about that!

Then after your post I will have a little prize from me to you! ;)

Shhh…. not telling you either.  ;)

You will just have to wait and see!  LOL  If you are the winner of the tutorial

You will post your tutorial on the last friday of the month - October 28th.

Here  is  the Link to all the Stamp Tv Kit Stamp Sets

That will show you all the stamp sets that have ever been in a kit!

I have lots of favorite techniques & This one is at the top of the list!  <3

I love to sponge and so on this one I did some sponging

around for a background color.

I love sponging because there are so many different looks

you can create with that sponge!  :)

Here are the following items I used for my card:

Gina K. Designs:

  • Stamp Set - Painted Autumn from the New Stamp Tv Kit Painted Autumn
  • Pure Luxury Card Stock - Ivory Heavy Base & Layering Weight,  & Dark Chocolate
  • Premium Dye Ink - Peach Bellini, Faded Brick, Jelly Bean Green, Dark Sage, Dark Chocolate, & Ocean Mist
  • Gingham Ribbon - Dark Chocolate
  • I didn't list the measurements on this, but I believe the Ivory Focal                  layer is 3 3/4" X 5"

I started with sponging a little ink all around the edges of the image panel then I used the larger of the two sizes of flowers. After stamping the solid image in the Peach Bellini, I then stamped the line art large flower in the Faded Brick. But making sure not to line it up! I have seen this look and love the way it has a water color feel to it! I then stamped the most solid larger leaf image in the Jelly Bean Green and then the line art image in the Dark Sage. Again making sure not to line it up! Using the sponge dauber from earlier along with the Ocean Mist Ink I sponged around the the flowers and in the center. Being careful not to get to much on the flowers. Attached this slayer to a Dark Chocolate Card Stock Layer. Then used the Dk. Choc. Gingham Ribbon around this panel. cut off a piece to make the knot and cut ends on a angle. Stamped the Greeting in Dk. Chocolate on a separate panel and sponged Ocean Mist around the edges. Add 3D Foam Squares and Bling from my stash. On the inside I stamped a flower and Leafs then added a piece of ribbon.

I hope you all will have fun with this months challenge!

Remember type in yes or no

in the description area

so I know if you want to be in the drawing for doing a tutorial.  :)

If you don't want to do the tutorial just type No but I hope you will still share

your Favorite Techniques and such with us!  :)

Can't wait to see your cards in the Gallery!

Congrats Lisa, cute card!!

Like the idea for this challenge, I will TRY to get one done this month but we will see.  Like the idea of the tutorial thing too...but not sure if I'll say yes, just cause of time constraints...but it is a neat idea!  :-))  Love your card, that sentiment is one of my favorites in this kit...just LOVE what it says!

Well, If this goes over well, I will do another on maybe in December for a hosting in January!  We shall see!  :)  <3  I am glad you like the idea and the idea of the tutorial! :)  Have a good weekend!  <3

Congratulations Lisa! Love your card.

Way to go Lisa! Congrats!

Congrats to Lisa!

As for my "favorite" thing to do, main one is to make mail-able cards in that they don't require any extra postage.  Though, I also like trying new things and/or adding a bit of fun.  Most of my cards are made for specific people, so I like to make them very personable or something funny that person will enjoy.

Karen, If we say yes to a tutorial, is the tutorial supposed to be for the technique used on the card we placed in the gallery?
