Hello again, and welcome to another FRIDAY FUNDAY!! I have a trio of cards to share with you today from the new Friends til the End set and the Autumn Wishes paper pack - all part of the Autumn Wishes Stamp TV Kit. Do you have yours yet??? This is SUCH a fun kit! And if you just can't swing the kit right now, be sure to at least pick up a pack of the Autumn Wishes paper. LOVE this paper pack. It's one of my very favorite of all times!
Here's my Friends til the End Trio...
I started my trio with a sketch from Operation Write Home. They have hundreds of sketches that you can download, and there are even measurements included! I think the only thing I did differently on this card was to use circles that were a little larger for the center. The sketch called for a 1 3/4" circle in the center, and I used a 2" circle with a 2 1/4" mat instead. I have a whole binder of these sketches that I love to use in my cardmaking!
So... my first step was to cut all my cardstock and patterned paper and lay it out on the desk in front of me. I decided that I would use some twill ribbon instead of a paper strip across the bottom, but I wanted it to lay fairly flat, so I simply cut a piece of the ribbon and tied a knot in the middle. You can see them all laying out across the bottom of the cards.
My next step was to stamp my images and sentiments in Memento Black ink. See how I curved the sentiment on the block??
After I colored my images and added a little bit of white gel pen here and there for highlights, I assembled my trio of cards. Here are the markers I used...
And here are the finished cards one by one...
What a fun little grouping of cards - great for a quick fall birthday or "thinking of you" gift. Just add some envelopes, tie them with ribbon and send them on their way to a friend!!
Thanks for dropping in today! Be sure to download the PDF if you would like it!
I love these cards! This would make a great set to give as a gift...may have to do that! :-)) I never thought to curve the sentiment like that...what a wonderful idea!! Thanks for the tip and the inspiration!! :-))
Some great ideas here, thank you. Also read recently about bending the sentiment, so good to see how you did it here.
These cards are awfully cute! Thanks for the info on where to find more card sketches.
The cards are darling! What a cheerful set! Thanks for sharing!
I love these cards Tricia! Thank you also for the precise instructions. This set is very "fall" and would make a great card for any fall occasion. Thanks so much for sharing!!
