Hi Everybody and Welcome to this weeks Friday Funday!
With Fathers Day and Graduation around the corner and along
with all the birthday of our favorite fellows,
I thought I would make a gift card holder suited for the guys in our lives!
<3 <3 <3
Here are the supplies I used:
Gina K Designs:
Stamp Set - My Anchor
Pure Luxury Card Stock - Kraft cut to 7 1/2” X 3 1/2” Scored @ 2” and 5”
Premium Dye Ink - Black Onyx
Other items- Prismacolor Pencils - White and Olive Green
Twine, Repositionable tape, corner punch
Here is how it came together! :)
I cut the kraft cardstock to 7 1/2” X 3 1/3” then scored at 2” and 5”
Using the Black Onyx Ink to stamp with, and on the longest flap I stamped the greeting in the upper left corner and the image in the center. Then I stamped the Happy Birthday on the shorter flap.
Then using the White pencil I just colored in the area’s of the truck that was the highlight! Where there was was dark shading from the stamp I didn’t color in those area much.
Then I used the Olive Green pencil under the truck so it would look like grass and to add a little color! :)
I used a corner punch to round off the corners. Then adding a repoisitionable tape runner and adding it to the back of the gift card where the swipe bar or bar code isn’t. You could use removable dots or anything that you remove the card from.
Then you have room to write something special on the top or bottom inside flap! <3
I finished it off by timing a piece of twine around it to hold it closed. Here again you could add a removable dot to hold it closed! :) <3
Remember, this can be for any occasion that that special guy in your life might need a special little gift! :) <3
This is the Finished Card Project!
That's all for today!
I Hope you all get to take a little time
to be creative and get a little Inky!
:) Happy Friday <3
