I think all of us that love paper crafts are paper addicts. I do the same as I've heard all of you talk about. I don't ever recall buying paper with a project in mind. I usually get the paper than the cards and layouts come to me next. Thanks for all the input about the new summer paper. My dad was in a bad accident and in SICU and I haven't got around to getting my summer paper but Thanks to you gals I have a couple starting points. I will check out doodlebug first. I love spring and summer, and I have always loved the papers you find at this time of year than any other season. (Spring and Summer).

Thanks Rita. You also say Christmas cards- I have decided this year, I am going to send out Thanksgiving cards as once a year connect cards. I love fall and I am truly thankful for family and friends. This way I can enjoy the Holiday season of baking, cards for military and visiting (traveling). I will go to see the video. Thanks again

My DIL and I make paper with Arnold Grummer paper molds. I have a video of us making red paper for Christmas cards. (We're not done yet--hehe! Life got in the way of making our 90-100 cards. Going to continue on this year.) I had all this old red computer paper that was really useless for card making. It was making our hands red, so we had to use gloves, but most papers don't stain your hands. We love to recycle and use junk mail, packing paper...and we add dried flowers and such. Lots of fun!

If you google Arnold Grummer you'll find his store (they also usually sell at local craft stores). And he also has great videos on YouTube.

I would like to get your ideas for making paper. I save lots of things to use but how do you make paper that is soft and pliable? Would love to har back.

I'm new, too. Also a card person and make handmade paper, too. :) Doesn't look like anyone has commented here for a long time.

Well if there could ever be a paper addict that would be me and my passion is cards. I have been checking out what others say and I think this could be a fun place and right up my alley!

Oh my gosh! Gina K. is giving away another Janome Mini Sewing Machine and I entered into the random drawing!!! Terrie, you won the last Janome give-a-way so perhaps it might be my turn? I really need to have lessons on sewing because that was not what I had in mind originally!!! Check out my card and you will totally understand. Laughing Big Time Laughing Out Loud!
