Comment by Melanie Jerome on March 5, 2012 at 2:28pm Also, i have started stamping classes again. I did this a long time ago, but had to stop due to family crisis. Anyway, im wanting to start up a class for Advanced stampers... alot of us have been stamping a long time. ITs hard to wow us!!
Dont you think? anyway for me it is.. so i thought why not start my own classs. I do them in my stamping studio (basement),,, once a month maybe!!
if any interest, let me know. i thought about doing it 2 ways. cant decide, so feedback is welcome. i thought just charging 10 dollars and i provide everything. or, maybe less amount and put a supplie list out there and everyone brings their own..... hmmmmm
Comment by Melanie Jerome on March 5, 2012 at 2:25pm Hi ohio stampers,
Just a freindly reminder about the columbus scrapbook expo coming up mar 23 and 24 at the columbus fairgrouds. this is not just scrapbooking, it is alot of stamping also. its a nice show. check it out
I love Stamp Your Art out!!! I go to Stamp Away each year and love that as well!
Comment by Deb Z on January 5, 2012 at 7:21am Scrappers Place is in Findlay.
Scrapbook Korner is in Archbold.
Sorry if the discussion led to confusing the two!
Comment by Melanie Jerome on January 5, 2012 at 6:14am im going to have to check out scrapbook korner in findlay. i wish i would have known about that when my sons were enrolled at bowling green. i drove thru findlay all the time... bummers!! i will have to make a road trip
if you looking for vintage definetly try out creative chaos in cirecleville ohio. she even has some antiques for sale at her store. im going this sat to take a card class
Comment by Christy Schumacher on January 4, 2012 at 9:08pm For those of you that are in or close to the Cincinnati area here is a link that I got for $30.00 of craft supplies for only $15.00 : Stamp Your Art Out I go to this store a lot and there are many many many great items there!
Comment by Lynne Neumann on January 4, 2012 at 2:22pm if by vintage you mean old, then no. But scrapper's place has a lot of stuff that appears old. She has lots of stuff that I like. For instance G45, maya Road, Tim Holtz stuff, stamps, flowers. I'm really only naming those things I like, but believe me, she has lots of stufff to make a vintage, heirloom scrapper happy.
Comment by Deb Z on January 4, 2012 at 1:18pm I'm not sure--it's not really what I look for when I'm there. But you can contact them through their facebook page, or at ScrapbookKorner.com
Do any of these stores carry vintage stuff? I am always looking for neat little things to add to my mixed media projects???
Comment by Deb Z on January 4, 2012 at 9:38am Thanks Lynne--I wasn't looking for it on Main--I looked more out by the mall.
Scrapbook Korner in Archbold is really nice--lots of product and bright and roomy. But I'll definitely check out Scrapper's Place--it seems like every store (except for the chains and big box stores) has it's own personality and different things to find.
