Welcome Jan!

I haven't posted much lately since I went back to work, but I still enjoy seeing what everyone else does. You will get LOTS of inspiration from StampTV. GinaK stamps are great. I've been a member of StampTV for several years, but just placed my first order the week end of World Card Making day when they were having a sale, then I made another purchase during the black Friday sale. The stamps are very high quality and I have been very pleased with them. I always get lots of good idea from the blog hop. Enjoy the group.

Hi everyone, I just joined this group and am looking forward to getting to know some of you.  My name is Jan and I live in St. Charles, I like to scrapbook and make cards although I don't seem to be as good as a lot of you, but I enjoy doing it and it is my way of getting rid of my stress.  So am hoping some of your creative will rub off on me.

I've had a few Copics refilled at FKS, but for a while didn't have the colors I needed. It had to do with the tsunami over there or something. It's been good chatting with you. I've gotta get to work.

Yes, did go to Collinsville. I was a bit disappointed too, but like you say, spent too much money.  Did you know that FKS will also refill your existing Copics for $2? Can't beat that - don't have to mess with it yourself, don't have to buy and store all of those refills, etc.  Wish I'd known you'd be up there over the weekend - we could have met up for a cup of coffee or something!  Who knows? Maybe we DID see each other!

Hi Patti,

I took Michelle Z's class too, but haven't done any brayering since. Actually haven't done much stamping of late either. I'm really sad about the Ink Spot. Those gals are best! Glad you mentioned For Keep's Sake. That's probably going to be my main store now that the Ink Spot is drying up. Did you get to the show in Collinsville over the weekend? I was sort of disappointed in the number of vendors, tho I spent a fair amount of money. Went to the garage sale at FKS on Sunday. Their prices on Copics are still cheaper than even at Collinsville, plus they had a Nestie I was sure I'd find at the show.

Hi Judy!  I'm really bummed about The Ink Spot.  Loved going there! That's actually where I took my Michelle Zindorf brayering class!  Hope you are doing well - haven't 'chatted' with you in a while!

Barbara, you can just go to thestamppad@gmail.com and email the owner at the shop in Kimmswick. Her name is Leanne Griffin.  Right now, she just sends out a little news via her email.  She does have very regular classes, and I think she fills them up pretty quickly.  I haven't taken any yet, as what I've seen seems more geared toward beginners.  Where I go most often for classes is in the So. County area on Lemay Ferry. It's called For Keep's Sake. I'm taking a Northwood's workshop up there on the morning of August 28th.  They do have a website, so maybe you can check them out on-line.  They offer lots of classes each month.  Hope that helps!

Hi Barbara,

I don't know how active this group is since no one has posted for a while. The Checkered Cottage in Kirkwood has classes occasionally. Classes are posted on their website. Unfortunately The Ink Spot, also in Kirkwood is going out of business. They used to have wonderful classes. I learned a lot from the ladies there. I was at the store Sunday for their 40% off sale and lots of stuff was already gone. There is also a fairly new store in Kimmswick called the Stamping Pad. They have classes, but I don't believe they have a website. I'll see if I can find their e-mail address for you.

Hi, everyone!  I see that it's been a while since anyone has posted in this group.  Can you tell me if it is still active?  I live in Florissant and am unable to find a local group or even a store that has classes.  My blog is jamiegee0204.blogspot.com/  I haven't used it in a while as I have chronic leukemia and sometimes it throws me a curve ball, but I think I'm ready to get back into creating.  Hope to hear from someone.
