How I store my dies

Sharon I still store all my flat metal dies in CD cases with a magnet sheet adhered inside. You must buy the older thicker CD cases and simply remove the black insert. I have found them at Staples in…Continue

FYI: everyone ~ this may have been posted somewhere already but I came across it and am sharing.

A link Jennifer McQuire's YouTube videos.  She has lots of ideas for storage

I am happy to see people commenting!  I stopped looking at this group and left it, but will happily come back.  Yesterday my husband's office had organizers to give away.  These are holders they place outside cubicles to place file folders or paper in that had labels like Fax, Mail, and things like that.  He brought me 3 of them!  I hope to have them hung on a wall to place my cardstock into for easy retrieval.

Marilyn - I have the same problem...  Please do let us know what you come up with!  :)   I have thought of one thing to do with acrylic stamps.  I keep them in a 3 ring binder or scrap album - just flip through the pages.

I don't think there have been many comments here in a while.  Where is everyone?

Hope I can learn how to organize my craft room, I tend to go crazy looking for things when I should be having fun stamping. If I think of something I have done that works I will post it.

I want to hear about Joyce's new craft room AND any pics or videos would be nice.  So, Joyce, when you have a spare minute would you show and tell?

I, for one, can't wait to see her place.  I know she is going to give us all some good ideas.

Also, I have been waiting for a video tour of Laurie's re-vamped craft area.  Laurie?  Please come back and do one of your fabulous video tours?  Please?

Greetings!  I just saw this group and decided that I might learn something from you all.  I have been stamping for over 10 years and have a large supply.  Now I am into embossing folders and dies, more items to store.  I am eager to learn some new things.

I grouped dies by ovals, circles, lacy, folige etc. I cut the die pic from the card and taped onto the cardboard that came in the book. I will put a easy tag and a number. I am thinking of scanning the page with images and put into a binder (probably the binder/book with my stamp set images) and number each book...easier to find. I am doing the same for my GinaK boxes of stamps

I use the black magnetic books for my Spellbinders and other dies, also. Used to be able to find them at Hobby Lobby, but they no longer carry Quik Cuts brand in my local store (haven't checked online lately). Thanks for the Amazon link, Joyce. When mine fill up, I'll order them there. Anyone have ideas for labeling the very thin spine? I used my label maker, but they are difficult to read, since they are so small. Darlene

One of the links Anna posted showed black magnetic books for spellbinders (quick cutz). I got 8 and need 5 more. Really save on space but pricey but at least the dies don't fall off. For the most part I squeezed 5 sets into each book.

Hi Everyone!
As per Anna's request, I thought I'd pop in and say hi.
It just so happens that my craft supplies have multiplied to the point that my very small craft room needs some revamping. Enlarging it is not any option right now so I need to do some creative reorganizing. I've run out of shelf room for stamp sets and a place to put my spellbinder dies. I have no more room for punches, stickles, etc. each and every area designated to those things has met full capacity so I need to do something. I have some ideas in mind so will be posting some before and after photos for you. I'm starting the revamp today but its take a few days as I need to get some supplies. I'll keep you posted
