Here is my attempt with Ranger Sticky Embossing Powder.  This was my first try and it was probably the best.  The powder can't be heated too much or the foil will not stick.

Hello, I am a brand new Foiler.  I need Foiling #1.  I bought a Royal Sovereign Laminator and I do not own a printer that has toner.  So I guess I need a lot of help.  I have bought several tubes of Deco Foil.  Thank you, anxiously waiting to hear from a kind person!

Judy,

I think you would get more feedback if you posted in the chat portion of this group.  This is a piece where I tried something new and posted photos.

I am very new to foiling and not at the point of actually helping anyone.  But the basics are to take a piece of paper, like Gina carries, that has toner and then run it through your laminator with the shiny side up.  The dark side is where the stuff that sticks to the toner is, so that needs to be touching the paper.  Then encase both the foil and paper to be foiled into a carrier and run it through your laminator.  I use thin paper from the printer for my carrier, but parchment paper may be better, I do not know.  I struggle a lot and have not played with foiling for a few months.

Hope this helps a little bit.

Lisa
