For those who haven't met me yet, my name is Sue and I live in Sarasota, Fl. I've grown up here all my life. I hope we can all get better acquainted. :)

Comment by Terry Duncan on July 11, 2012 at 3:39pm Hello Everyone,
I've been away in Maine for a family emergency for the last few months, but I'm back now. I'm continuing my card making classes at the Hobby Lobby in New Port Richey on Mondays and my all day CROPS on Fridays if anyone is interested in attending. I also do private classes for groups of friends and online classes. There's more information on my blog at http://www.classycutupscreations.com and at http://www.meetup.com/Tampa-Bay-Classy-Cut-ups/ if you are interested.
Hi Betty,
I didn't know the shop on Westshore closed. If you don't mind taking a drive, there are two small shops in Spring Hill (Scrap-a-Latte on 19 and Stamping Studio on Spring Hill Dr.), Violette's in Lakeland, and 'the name escapes me at the moment' in Lecanto. The Joann's in Citrus Park is a decent one.

Comment by Betty Schweikhart on July 11, 2012 at 3:26pm Hi, my name is Betty and I live in Tampa during the winter months. I love to make cards. Monica, since you live in Tampa, where do you shop for supplie? Our favorite scrapbooking store on Westshore Blvd. closed and the only other one I know about is in St. Pete. I just discovered this website and love ginakdesign cards.
Comment by Deb Felts on June 28, 2012 at 2:05pm Sorry I missed you at the release party, Charlotte! We went for lunch...sat outside under a cloudless sky! You would never ever have suspected what it looked like night before last! Thankfully no water in our subdivision, but I saw somewhere that there were hundreds of damaged buildings and they did 90 water rescues, so I'm feeling especially thankful!
Comment by Deb Felts on June 27, 2012 at 2:27pm Thanks, Tracy! So far today there has been no rain. Black Creek is very slowly receding. I just saw some pictures on The Weather Channel of homes in Middleburg engulfed in water. Thankfully our neighborhood is safe...the flooding is only about 10 miles away from us, and the mouth of the creek (where it enters the St. Johns River) is only a couple of miles down the highway. Needless to say, I am very relieved and grateful!
