Hello Everyone,

I've been away in Maine for a family emergency for the last few months, but I'm back now.  I'm continuing my card making classes at the Hobby Lobby in New Port Richey on Mondays and my all day CROPS on Fridays if anyone is interested in attending.  I also do private classes for groups of friends and online classes.  There's more information on my blog at and at if you are interested.

Hi Betty,
I didn't know the shop on Westshore closed. If you don't mind taking a drive, there are two small shops in Spring Hill (Scrap-a-Latte on 19 and Stamping Studio on Spring Hill Dr.), Violette's in Lakeland, and 'the name escapes me at the moment' in Lecanto. The Joann's in Citrus Park is a decent one.

Hi, my name is Betty and I live in Tampa during the winter months. I love to make cards. Monica, since you live in Tampa, where do you shop for supplie? Our favorite scrapbooking store on Westshore Blvd. closed and the only other one I know about is in St. Pete. I just discovered this website and love ginakdesign cards.

Sorry I missed you at the release party, Charlotte!  We went for lunch...sat outside under a cloudless sky!  You would never ever have suspected what it looked like night before last!  Thankfully no water in our subdivision, but I saw somewhere that there were hundreds of damaged buildings and they did 90 water rescues, so I'm feeling especially thankful!

Thanks, Tracy!  So far today there has been no rain.  Black Creek is very slowly receding.  I just saw some pictures on The Weather Channel of homes in Middleburg engulfed in water.  Thankfully our neighborhood is safe...the flooding is only about 10 miles away from us, and the mouth of the creek (where it enters the St. Johns River) is only a couple of miles down the highway.  Needless to say, I am very relieved and grateful!

Hi Toni - welcome!  Deb - hope Debby won't be too bad, but this morining I was surprised to see she was only moving at about 2 mph - is she moving any quicker now?  I know you're in for a big rain event - prayers going out to you

It stopped for a while, but it is pouring again!  I am glad I have nowhere to go tonight!  Keepin' an eye on The Weather Channel!

I am so VERY thankful that there aren't major winds associated with this storm!  I have definitely had enough of that (BIG tree ON house in 2004, another one next to house about 3 weeks ago)!

Hi and Welcome Toni.  I am in Lakeland from Sept. to June, and also help to facilitate our card making group in our senior development.  Deb, I hope you are staying dry.  I am currently in Pa., away from the rains.  When I left Fl. it was so dry in our area the ponds were mostly mud puddles, Now neighbors tell me they are almost over their banks!  Enough already!!!

Hi Toni!  Welcome!

How's everybody doing?  I think we all must need canoes about now!  Debby is really dousing us!
