Card Creator Machines and more . . .

Hello Future Members:

This group is about card making machines, such as the cuttlebug machine, the cricut, the big shot, the grand calibur and other machines I am not aware of.  These machines were created to create a masterpiece using everyone's gifs and talents in card making abilities.

So if anyone has any new tips and techniques you use with the machine you have, please feel free to share with us here.

Hi! I just purchased a Cuttlebug. The C plate does not come with the machine anymore. Do I need to purchase one? What would it be used for? Thanks!

Yes, a C plate is necessary for cutting thin dies  ...but when using steel ruled dies you will use 2 B plates and no A plate.

I hope you find this helpful..

Does anyone still frequent this board?

I am looking for info on the Scan n Cut machine.  How easy it is and things like that.  Thinking about getting one but not sure if it is worth the investment.

Jan.....are you still here?  You wrote a year ago about having one but I don't see any responses.  These boards are still confusing to me - they seem to be all over the place at times.

Hi Jan

I think you will need to Contact Gina as it is her site, Gina or someone that runs Stamptv should know how to delete a group.  When you find out let everyone else know too! GOD Bless!

Hi Ladies and any Gentlemen

I started a group called "Brother Scan 'n Cut" and then found this group, which I suspect is where I should be.  I can't figure out how to delete the group I started.  Anyway....

Today I went Xmas shopping at our local Spotlight Shop and a Brother Scan 'n Cut machine jumped into my shopping trolley!  It is still sitting in it's box on the floor and I keep looking at it and wondering how it got there and why it would want to come home with me when I already have a Silhouette Cameo, a Cuttlebug, and a Sizzix Die Cutter!

Does anyone have a Scan 'n Cut machine and what do you think of it?  The box is quite pretty and I guess I might have a peek inside it sometime soon.

Using Cuttlebug for the "Two embossing folders, one card"  in Gina's video... I tried it and it is awesome.

I really wish Cuttlebug would come out with more dies again, not just embossing folders.  I love using it.

Ooops I guess I forgot to say what that link is for - that I posted!  Sorry.

It is how to leave a 'blank space' area when using an embossing folder in your cuttlebug or other machine.

DonnaBarb, I just meant I could spend less time on Pinterest and check this group a little more often.

No, I don't have an electronic cutter.  In fact, I've only had my Cuttlebug a couple years.  I came to stamping/card making late in life and figure the electronic cutters are too expensive for the little use I would give one.  I do  love my Cuttlebug and use it every time I pull out my card-making materials.

Hi everyone,

I found this link I had saved that makes a blank space in the middle of embossing.  Someone in another group asked about it and I remembered I had it as I save a doc file with links to sites I may want in the future (tip).

Anyway here is the link in case anyone would like it - it makes a very pretty creation:
