Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

Good morning and Happy World Card Making Day!

Today's first WCMD challenge features this week's StampTV Video Technique- Carved Wood Technique!

You can watch this week's video to learn how to do this technique

by clicking here: Carved Wood Video

Here is another Carved Wood card I made featuring the Stamper's Favorites stamp set by Melanie Muenchinger.

I challenge you to add this background to your card and add it to the gallery using keyword/tag: WCMD1

You will have through Sunday night at 11:59PM to play along! On Monday, we will choose a winner who will grab a $50.00 gift certificate to the Gina K. Designs online store!

Grab your card making tools and get busy because today is World Card Making day and it's time to get inky! Next challenge coming up in a few hours! Stay tuned!

Oh FUN!!!  Happy World Card Making Day......or as my husband says, isn't that everyday???  lol

Such fun! Love the impressive new technique! Happy World cardmaking day!

Love this challenge and would love to participate. I'm posting this question here as well as the question forum because I'm not sure which will get read. Sorry if this is a bother.I usually upload my pics in the gallery from my work computer because I can't do it from my phone and that is my only source of internet at home. So if I participate in these challenges this weekend can I send my pics to someone to upload in the gallary for me? Is there a specific person that or can do this? Appreciate any help. Thanks.

I really like the carved wood effect.  Unable to do it today, have placed an order for the products I need to do it.  How about having these sticky notes with glue on the entire back side of the note, in your store?  Send my order quickly so I can do this technique, please.  Also it would be nice to have instructions that can be printed for use in the future.  Thank you for the wonderful new idea.

Yes, he's right!

I love this card Gina, but am not able to participate because I don't have an Ivory inkpad!! GRRRR!!!  I will buy one with my next order and give it a try then. It looks so good, and I always love to learn a new technique!  Your video makes it looks so easy and it looks like a million bucks!!  :)  Have fun everyone!  I wish you all could win that great prize!!  :)

Hi Selina, I had to substitute the Charcoal Brown and the Ivory because I don't have those inkpads. I used Gina's White and Memento Rich Cocoa. This is a real fun technique so I hope you can find your substitutions.
