Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

I know most everyone uses either typepad, blogger or wordpress but I am one of the few who uses Go Daddy. Anyone else out there use what I use? What do you use. What do you like and what do you wish you could do.

One thing I can't do but I wish I could is set the time for my posts. I have to wait up until midnight and post it myself. Others can set a time for theirs to post and they can go to bed at a normal hour! LOL!

I'm not sure if I can set a time for posts on blogger, haven't looked into that yet. I did learn how to link my posts to STV and make it look cool in my blog post!
Interesting question Gina. I use Blogger and one time I successfully set a time and my post appeared - another time I did it and it did not appear so I don't know what I did or didn't do. I have not tried it again. I chose blogger because it was 1. Free and 2. already linked to my google acct so I didn't need yet ANOTHER log in etc. to work with. Blogger is pretty easy and I can move stuff around easy enough - I have not worked on customizing my backgrounds etc. though so it's not so cool and pretty like lots of blogs but the templates are OK. What I DON'T like with Blogger is the "preview" - it's not really what it's going to look like and I almost always post - then have to edit to get the photos where I really want it etc. It's especially problematic if I want to post multiple pics and try to put them where I want them. I know some HTML and can sometimes modify that but it's easier to use the WSIWG. I also don't know how with Blogger to add a second side bar on the other side - good luck! (I do love your blog - it's well organized and easy to follow.)
I use blogger because it is free. I didn't want to add a bunch of fancy stuff and was not sure if I would be able to keep up with it. So free was good for me. You can set posts for the future on blogger. I have done that before. Since I don't have a following I don't keep after it like I should. I feel like I am talking to myself. LOL! I agree with Pam about the preview. It drove me crazy at first, but I don't wrap text around my pictures so I live with it.
I use blogger, since I use it just to keep in touch with my kids who don't live close by, I really don't need anything fancy. My daughter and daughter-in-law are both crafty, so we keep track of each other's projects.
I use blogger also. I like it because it is free. I like that I can set posts for the future.

Lori--how do you link posts to STV. I uploaded my first GKD cards here today and will be blogging them soon, so linking back here would be a plus.

I also don't like the preview screen. I always seem to have trouble getting the proper lines/spacing between paragraphs. I usually give up after a few tries.

I had a gal named Sara from Tweaks and Designs do my blog art for me, I am in queue for a re-do though. I have the black/pink thing for long enough. Not brave enough to mess with it myself. LOL
I also use blogger and am pretty happy with it.
I really like that you can set a time for your by using the post options on the bottom left side of the post, right about where you add your labels.
I have changed my background and heading a few times since I found a couple of sites that have free backgrounds and headings you can use. You just copy their HTML code and add it to your blog like you would a widget. I have a few widgets on my blog and probably should add a column on the other side so people do not have to scroll forever to get to the bottom...lol!
Pam, When you are creating a post, have you tried to move your pictures around by clicking on the picture and dragging it where you want it in the post? That is how I move my pic to where I want them.
I use Blogger and recently my 16 y.o. son helped me to change it to a 3 column layout without losing all my stuff!!!! LOL THANK GOODNESS for teenagers!!!!! LOL I love that Blogger lets me set my time for posts although I'm usually up 'til all hours anyway!!! ;) I look forward to lots of fun chatting here at the Blogger Cafe!!!
I use xanga for my family blog just because it's where many of my friends are. I like that all the pictures uploaded there can be found in your photo gallery. And all my blog posts are automatically updated on my Facebook page. I haven't yet found either feature on my new blogspot craft blog. One big plus with blogspot over xanga is the ability to add javascript codes. Xanga is still working on including those.
I use Blogger and love that it is so easy to use. Still... there are few things I'd like to know how to do.... like add a "signature" to each entry. Like Lynn has on her blog. I love that!

Seems I have people coming to the blog.. it is fairly new still, but no one ever leaves a comment. I'm not sure how to get people to post comments. I put it in my "about me" area to please leave one. Maybe I'll make an entry about it??? I always want help and/or suggestions on how to better my cards, etc.
I also use blogger and have not had this blog for very long.
I also like to visit other blogs to see what people make and get inspired by them and thier work.
Hey can I borrow your son for a while??? Or can he give ME some tips LOL on how to make a 3 column page??? (BTW You do not look not old enough to have a 16 year old!)

Tina - I have found that since the coming of Stamp TV many people just leave comments on my photos in the gallery here instead of on my blog which is just fine. If they want more details sometimes they go out to look at my blog and might comment there. Lots of folks are busy busy and will look but not comment and since I do my blog mainly for me I'm ok with that too - (comments are always lovely though and much appreciated when folks DO take time to leave one.) I do find though that the more I comment on others' blogs the more comments come back to mine - the old "give and it shall be returned to you" really does work. :-)
